An Optimism: Poetry Reading and Conversation with Cameron Awkward-Rich and Alexis Pauline Gumbs

Poet Awkward-Rich will read from his new book An Optimism, an exploration of becoming and identity that lifts up Black, trans, and other minoritized forms of life and pays homage to Rev. Dr. Pauli Murray. The reading will be followed by a conversation between Awkward-Rich and Gumbs, reflecting on how we live, create, and imagine together in this complex moment.

This event is free, but donations are appreciated to help cover the cost of hors d'oeuvres and drinks. RSVP by 12 noon on November 11 to reserve your spot.
