An Optimism: Poetry Reading and Conversation with Cameron Awkward-Rich and Alexis Pauline Gumbs

Poet Awkward-Rich will read from his new book An Optimism, an exploration of becoming and identity that lifts up Black, trans, and other minoritized forms of life and pays homage to Rev. Dr. Pauli Murray. The reading will be followed by a conversation between Awkward-Rich and Gumbs, reflecting on how we live, create, and imagine together in this complex moment.
