The Pauli Murray Center for History and Social Justice is open to the public on Saturdays and Wednesdays. Please check our calendar for weekly hours.
If the Center is closed, you are always welcome to drop by our free outdoor exhibits, which are accessible to the public year-round during daylight hours.
Public Tours
We are excited to offer a variety of public tours for folks to explore the incredible life and legacy of the Rev. Dr. Pauli Murray inside the home where they were raised. We offer both guided and self-guided opportunities to members of our community! While children are always welcome at the Pauli Murray Center, our guided tour is best suited for youth 12 and up. All children should be accompanied by an parent or guardian for public tours.

At the Pauli Murray Center, we are dedicated to creating a welcoming, inclusive, and accessible environment for all visitors. We are committed to meeting visitors accessibility needs as much as we can, as often as we can. We also hope to be transparent about the assets and limitations of our space, and to work towards providing additional accessibility accommodations as we are able.

Private Tours & Field Trips
If you’re planning to visit the center with your class, church group, corporation, or book club, a private tour offers the opportunity to experience Pauli Murray’s childhood home at a time that is convenient for your group. Private tours are scheduled throughout the week based on staff capacity but are not available on Saturdays between 9 AM - 2:30 PM, due to public open hours.
